Elaine and Emory Dunahoo Jr. of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Megan Elizabeth Dunahoo to Seth Joseph Brownlee, son of Eileen and Bruce Alexander of Jacksonville, Fla., and Shirley and Mike Brownlee of Commerce.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Doris and Jim Mills of Gainesville and Shirley and Emory Dunahoo Sr. of Clermont.

She is a 2004 graduate of Johnson High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2008 from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. She is employed as a teacher at Davis Middle School in Gainesville and a junior varsity volleyball coach at Flowery Branch High School.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Peggy and Joseph Brownlee of Commerce and Ennette Cook of Seattle, Wash.

He is a 2004 graduate of Banks County High School in Commerce. He is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in early education at The University of West Georgia in Carrollton.

The couple plans to wed Nov. 22, 2008, at The Grove Baptist Church in Maysville.
