David and Diane Denkhaus of Brighton, Mich., announce the engagement of their daughter Danielle Kristin Renee Denkhaus to Jeremy Matthew Ray, son of Susan Green of Pelham, Ala., and Rick and Kathy Ray of Homewood, Ala.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Brighton High School in Brighton, Mich. She graduated in 2005 from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is employed as a logistics engineer with Cargill Inc., in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Venora Green of Birmingham, Ala., and Ottie Gean Ray of Tuscumbia, Ala.

He is a 1999 graduate of Homewood High School in Homewood, Ala. He graduated in 2003 from Auburn University in Auburn, Ala., with a bachelor's degree in aviation management and logistics. He is employed as a business analyst with Home Depot.

The couple plan to wed June 4, 2011, at First Presbyterian Church in Ann Arbor, Mich.
