Mr. and Mrs. Harold Chastain of Bradenton, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Deborah Lynn Chastain to Mr. Keith Floyd Blankenship, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Blankenship of Flowery Branch.

She is a 1983 graduate of Manatee High School in Bradenton. She graduated in 1995 from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Fla., with a bachelor's degree in nursing and received a master's degree in nursing from the University of Florida. She is employed as an advanced registered nurse practitioner with Internal Medicine Associates of Jacksonville. She is a member of the General Federation of Women's Club, Junior Woman's Club of Jacksonville and the Northeast Florida Council of Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners.

He is a 1980 graduate of Robinson High School in Tampa, Fla. He graduated in 1983 from Hillsboro Community College in Tampa with an associate's degree in art. He is employed as a senior web developer with Fidelity National Information Services in Jacksonville.

The couple is planning a beach wedding on Oct. 11, 2008, at One Ocean in Jacksonville.
