Alfred Nicholas and Carolyn Chase Corriere of Albany and Michael David and Elise Chase of Decatur announce the engagement of their daughter Susan Emily Chase to Wilmot McRae Greene III, son of Wilmot McRae Greene Jr. and Carol Dean Greene of Gainesville. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Carlton and Sue Dunn and the late Austin and Charlotte Chase.

She is a 1998 graduate of Deerfield-Windsor Academy in Albany. She graduated in 2002 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor’s degree in design. She is employed as a designer with Bait Swimwear in Los Angeles. She is a member of Chi Omega sorority.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Kathryn Knight Greene of Gainesville, the late W.M. Greene Sr. and the late Earl and Mary Gladys Dean.

He is a 1988 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville. He graduated in 1993 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor’s degree in geography. He received a master’s degree at the University of Georgia in geographic information systems in 2000. He is owner of the Georgia Theatre in Athens and is a member of The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation.

The couple plan to wed Sept. 18, 2010 in Rosemary Beach, Fla.
