Ricky and Andrea Beussee of Nicholson announce the engagement of their daughter Chaunacey Morgan Beussee to Cody Christopher Clark, son of Chris and Wendy Clark of Pendergrass.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Gilbert and Betty Jean Beussee of Athens, Andres and Tomasa Polante of Suffolk, Va., and the late Helen Jones Polante.

She is a 2008 home schooled graduate and graduated in 2009 from Athens Technical College in Athens with an associate degree in medical assisting. She is employed as a medical assistant with Athens Obstetrics and Gynecology PC, in Athens.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Leon and Loretta Pittman of Pendergrass, Charlie Clark of Murrayville, Dugar and Sondra Strickland of Jefferson and great-grandmother Cora Peck of Murrayville and the late Jewell Peck.

He is a 2005 home schooled graduate. He is employed as a shop manager with Last Chance Archery LLC and is owner of Clark Brothers Lawncare, both in Pendergrass.

The couple plan to wed May 7, 2011.
