Tommy and Becky Baker of Flowery Branch announce the engagement of their daughter Jennifer Marie Baker to Jonathan Robert Benton, son of Ben and Teri Benton of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Helen Baker of Duluth, the late Bob Baker and Jane Huck of Buford.

She is a 1999 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. She graduated in 2004 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is employed as a center manager with Lincare Inc. in Gainesville. She is a member of Delta Zeta sorority.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Elizabeth Cochran of Venice, Fla., and the late Helen and Ben Benton Sr.

He is a 1999 graduate of North Hall High School. He is employed as a firefighter with the city of Gainesville.

The couple plans to wed at sunset on June 21, 2008, on the beach in Venice Beach, Fla.
