Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Allison of Flowery Branch announce the engagement of their daughter Lisa Christin Allison to Andrew Cole Southerland, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Frankie Southerland of Buford.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Inez Allison of Flowery Branch, the late Mr. C.F. Allison and the late Mrs. Willene Major.

She is a 2006 graduate of Flowery Branch High School in Flowery Branch. She is attending North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega pursing a bachelor's degree in psychology. She is employed as a sales associate with Kohl's in Flowery Branch. She is a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the Rev. and Mrs. Arthur Southerland of Sugar Hill, Mrs. Patsy Wiley of Buford and the late Mr. William R. "Gene" Wiley.

He is a 2005 graduate of Buford High School in Buford. He received an associate degree in business management from Gainesville State College and he is attending North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega pursuing a bachelor's degree in business management. He is employed as a warehouse technician with Sherwin Williams in Buford. He is a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

The couple plans to wed Aug. 9, 2008, at Blackshear Place Baptist Church in Flowery Branch.
