The National Coalition for Burned Churches will be hosting a Northeast Georgia Church Burning Briefing at 10 a.m. Friday at Montgomery Memorial Baptist Church, 1210 West Ridge Road, Gainesville.

The briefing aims to inform and educate the community about the ongoing problem of church burnings and bombings in America, and to engage in dialogue about church arson prevention and how community volunteers can assist churches in need of help with recovery.

The briefing is open to the public.
