Gene and Sue Robinson of Gainesville celebrated their 50th anniversary on June 21, 2008. The couple celebrated with a week on North Captiva Island, Fla., with their sons and daughters-in-law Chris and Julie Robinson and Jeff and Patty Robinson and their grandchildren Rebecca, Tatum, Faith and Ethan Robinson.

Gene and Sue were married at Nacoochee Baptist Church in Nacoochee Valley.
