The Rev. Billy and Mrs. Marie Poole of Gainesville celebrated their 50th anniversary on March 29, 2009. A reception held in their honor at Timber Ridge Baptist Fellowship Hall was given by their children David and Robin Poole and Jamie and Amy Chosewood and their grandchildren.

The couple have two children and three grandchildren.
