Naomi and Lee Lawson of Gainesville celebrated their 51st anniversary on Aug. 31, 2008.

Naomi and Lee have served their church, McEver Road Baptist Church, faithfully for many years.

The couple have a son, Glenn Lawson, who is a teacher and a daughter, Jane Lawson, who is a missionary nurse in Africa. They have two grandchildren.
