Philip and Ruby Cagle of Gainesville celebrated their 50th anniversary on Aug. 9, 2008. A reception held in their honor at Cornerstone Assembly of God in Flowery Branch was given by their son Randy and their grandchildren Andy and Brittany Cagle.

The couple have one child, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
