Test your pointless knowledge with trivia in Gainesville

Most of us usually act like we’re the smartest person in the room, and here are a few opportunities to prove it.

Think you know who colorized Casablanca? Did you waste your entire weekend memorizing “Futurama” dialogue? What’s the capital of Australia? For you dorks, what lies at the center of Voldemort’s wand?

Put that knowledge to the test — while screaming yourself hoarse at the poor woman peeping at her phone at the next table who was just checking up on her Instagram and not actually cheating — at a few of the trivia nights around Hall County.

At Locos Grill and Pub on South Enota Drive, trivia begins at 7:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays.

On Green Street, Mellow Mushroom starts trivia night at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.

Near downtown, 37 Main starts trivia around 8 p.m. on Tuesdays.

Wild Wing Cafe on Jesse Jewell Parkway starts trivia at 7 p.m. on Thursdays.

Downtown Drafts on the Gainesville square opens trivia at 7 p.m. on Thursdays.

Winners usually snag some cash, drink tokens or credit at the hosting restaurant, so study up before you get off work.
