While those stuffy French obsess over which dry red pairs best with their duck confit, Sweet Acre Farms Winery and a Lula restaurant are presenting a much more American question: Which wine cuts through the heat on these chicken wings? On Friday, March 16, At the Tracks Restaurant in Lula and Sweet Acre Farms are coming together for their second Wine & Wings night at the winery in Alto after the first event was a “huge hit” in 2017, said Sweet Acre Farms co-owner Matthew Vrahiotes. “Fortunately for us with being a fruit winery, it lends itself well to chicken wings — especially our lemon wine, our lemonade-style wine, Quittin’ Time,” Vrahiotes said on Thursday.
