A benefit concert for Good News Clinics on Friday will blend barbecue and country music.

The Kinchafoonee Cowboys, who originated outside of Augusta but now call Athens home, will entertain the crowd at the Chattahoochee Country Club. Tickets are available for tables of 10 and includes a barbecue dinner.

The group has shared billing with such acts as Alabama, Trisha Yearwood, Widespread Panic and Dave Matthews Band. They have released four studio albums with the most recent, "Cowboy Ways: Live at the Georgia Theatre," released in 2005.

Tickets for the benefit show are $80 each, or $800 for a table for 10. Fans of Good News Clinics on Facebook will be able to purchase advance tickets for the show.
