Its the final holiday tour for Foothills artists

The Foothills Guild of Art and Crafts will celebrate its 25th anniversary this weekend with a final tour of the member artists' studios.

The tour, taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, features seven local artists showing their work in two locations - The Gourd Place in White County and the home studio of John Kollock in Habersham County.

Artists at The Gourd Place include Janice Lymburner and Priscilla Wilson of The Gourd Place, jeweler and ceramicist Antonia Reed, painter Teresa Dean and broom maker Helen Cannon. Artists at Kollock's studio include woodcarver Sam Brashear and calligrapher and photographer Graham Dellinger.

The Gourd Place is at 2319 Duncan Bridge Road in Sautee, and Kollock's studio is at 450 Bybrook Trail in Clarkesville.
