Christmas in Northeast Georgia's small towns
Placeholder Image

As Christmas settles across Hall County and Northeast Georgia, it's not just large communities off Interstate 985 that settle into their own Christmas traditions.

Little towns in the area, too, have their own set of Christmas celebrations. And just because they have fewer people doesn't mean Christmas is a smaller affair.

Clermont in northern Hall County recently hosted its first-ever Christmas parade. In Lula on Friday, Christmas at the Depot will feature carolers, food and kids' activities.

We visited three little towns to find out what the atmosphere is like around Christmastime: Dahlonega, Maysville and Sautee. While they all have that festive spirit in common, each one approaches Christmas a different way.
