This week, every high school spring sport has a lot on the line. Region champions will be crowned in baseball, golf and some in soccer, while state finalists in track and field will be determined in sectional action. One of the biggest draws locally will take place Friday when second-ranked Gainesville (22-0, 17-0 Region 8-AAA) plays host to North Hall (15-7, 12-4) for the region title in baseball starting with a doubleheader at 4 p.m. Friday at Ivey-Watson Field.
