High school softball: Chestatee places five on All-Region squad in 7-AAAA
Lady War Eagles' Adam Rich named Coach of the Year

Region 7-AAAA released its All-Region softball team on Monday with Chestatee leading the pack with five players making the squad and Lady War Eagles coach Adam Rich being named Coach of the Year.

Infielder Beth Eddins, catcher Katilyn Babb, outfielders Georgia Patterson and Bailey Mason, and pitcher Becca Eddins all made First Team honors for Chestatee.

West Hall’s Anna McKendree was selected as the First Team’s utility player.

White County infielder Abby Taylor, catcher Jessica Morgan and outfielder Brooke Wade were also First Team selections.

Morgan was also named Player of the Year for the league.

Marist had four players and Blessed Trinity had a pair on the First Team list as well.

Honorable Mentions for the All-Region squad are Hannah Jones and Danielle Ortega for Chestatee, Evelyn Fragoso of West Hall and, Mikayla Sullens and KyLeigh Johnson for White County.
