High School Scoreboard: Buford softball team tops West Forsyth, 8-1

The Buford softball team defeated West Forsyth 8-1 Monday night at home. Buford pitcher Kennedy Kotula (2-4) went five innings with one earned run on three hits and three strikeouts. Kotula went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run in the first inning and a double in the second.
