High school basketball: Lakeview Academy rallies past Tallulah Falls in Region 8-A tournament

Eliza Snyder’s 17 points and eight rebounds helped Lakeview Academy’s girls edge Tallulah Falls 47-45 in the Region 8-A tournament Friday in Commerce. Joelle Snyder had 11 points for the Lions (20-7), while Jackie Allen had 7 points and four assists. 

Trailing by 10 after three quarters, the Lady Lions outscored Tallulah Falls 21-9 in the fourth quarter. 

Up next, Lakeview Academy faces the Hebron Christian/Athens Academy winner at 6 p.m. tonight in Commerce.

TOWNS COUNTY BOYS 51, LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 41: Conley Millwood had 12 points for the Lions, while Sam Stewart scored 10 points in the Region 8-A tournament Friday in Commerce.
