Woman not injured after home invasion in Buford

Two Hispanic men in their 20s forced their way into a Buford residence and the homeowner into the pantry as they ransacked the house Friday afternoon, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded at about 3 p.m. to the home in the 4800 block of Peachtree Drive, just south of Lanier Islands Parkway near Exit 8 on Interstate 985. One of the men had a handgun.
