Unattended backpack at Mule Camp Market proved harmless

A suspicious package briefly disrupted the first day of Mule Camp Market this afternoon. Gainesville Police were called to investigate an unattended backpack left under a tree on the corner of Main and Spring streets. The GBI cleared the area and determined the backpack was not a threat, it was simply left unattended, Cpl. Joe Britte said.
