Schools consider bus partnership with Gainesville Connection

Ashley Bell wants to improve student achievement in Gainesville schools, and he thinks the local bus system can help. Bell, who is chairman of the school governance council for Gainesville High School, says too many students miss out on after-school tutoring opportunities because they don’t have transportation home. “All the school buses are gone by then,” he said.
