Witnesses testifying in a murder trial Wednesday morning told the jury about Ofelia Barrera-Rodriguez’s movements and comments in the days after the death of Iris Romero-Banegas, 43. Barrera-Rodriguez, 49, of Gainesville, is charged with malice murder for allegedly stabbing Romero-Banegas on Dec. 28, 2014. Barrera-Rodriguez traveled to Mexico in late December 2014.
