Nicolaou-Griffin heads to Harvard, then to Greece

Loucas Nicolaou-Griffin said he’s felt torn between two worlds for the last few years and is looking forward to going home after graduation. The 16-year-old senior at East Hall High School will spend the summer studying physics in a Harvard University summer program before boarding a plane back to Greece. He moved to Gainesville two years ago with his family after the country’s economic problems began.
