Lt. Col. Kevin Jarrard left Riverside Military Academy over a managerial disagreement, according to an email sent Wednesday to parents. The academy announced the resignation of Jarrard, its commandant of cadets, Tuesday night in a Facebook post.The announcement prompted an outcry from parents, who have flooded Riverside’s Facebook page with praise for Jarrard’s integrity and hopes he will rescind his resignation. Riverside President Col. Jim Benson sent an email to parents Wednesday saying Jarrard’s resignation “involved a management decision that I overturned.”
