Halls sewer system ready for growth
County, Gainesville moving forward with expansion

On his way out of office, Gary Gibbs spoke these prophetic words in December 2004: The key to Hall County’s future is running sewer up Ga. 365 in North Hall. The county’s top elected officials needed “to embrace the vision and not just seize the moment,” said the former Board of Commissioners chairman. A shade over a decade later, the county, with Gainesville’s help, is moving forward on such a system, one expected to capture some of the growth now happening in North Hall.
