Gainesville sees increase in English, math scores on Milestones

Gainesville City Schools officials said they were pleased that results from the Georgia Milestones testing showed increases in both English/Language Arts and mathematics, while Hall County officials said their numbers are similar to results in recent years. The Georgia Department of Education released state Milestones test results Thursday. The Milestones tests elementary and middle school students in End-of-Grade testing which focuses on English/Language Arts and math.
