Eyes on the Roads: Minor work still to be done on Ga. 347

Traffic has been flowing since late September on Ga. 347/Lanier Islands Parkway between Interstate 985 and McEver Road in Flowery Branch, but some minor work, or “punch list” items still could take place. “There are a few sections of (concrete) sidewalk and curb/gutter that need to be removed and repoured,” said Teri Pope, Georgia Department of Transportation district spokeswoman. “Lane closures will be minimized as much as possible, but shoulders will definitely be closed as concrete is removed, poured and cures.”
