Connecting parents, schools focus of Gainesville superintendent's community chat

Bridging the gap in “getting from the hands of the child into the hands of the parents” with school information was the focus of the second community chat with Gainesville City Schools Superintendent Wanda Creel on Tuesday. Creel met with any community members who wanted at 7:30 a.m. and noon Tuesday at Panera Bread on Dawsonville Highway. The community chats followed similar sessions for parents Thursday.
