Flowery Branch High School has announced that senior Braden Parks has accepted an appointment to attend the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. U.S. Rep. Doug Collins, R-Gainesville, nominated Parks. Parks is a member of the AP Scholars Program and captain of the Flowery Branch High fencing team.
