Class Notes: Gainesville invites community to superintendent search

The Gainesville City Board of Education will hold two focus groups for input on the superintendent search. The first session will be July 31 at Gainesville Exploration Academy, 1145 McEver Road. The second session is scheduled for Aug. 12 at New Holland Core Knowledge Academy, 170 Barn St. Both will be from 5-7 p.m. The superintendent will replace Merrianne Dyer, who is retiring after this school year.
