Keith Albertson, managing editor of The Times since 2004, has been promoted to the position of executive editor of the news organization. “We are very pleased to announce that Keith is the new chief editor for our various products and publications. He brings to the position a great deal of institutional knowledge about the area as well as a solid understanding of the role the news media should play in a community,” said Norman Baggs, general manager of The Times.
