Jan Pierce lived in Dahlonega for a year when she decided to taste the appetizers, entrees, desserts and drinks of several restaurants on the square in one sitting through the Savoring the Square walking culinary tour. Since then, Pierce has returned to several of the restaurants she initially visited. And it all started with the tour, which offers residents and tourists the chance to explore restaurants around the Dahlonega square at lunch or dinner.
