Jerry Barrett of Winder announces the engagement of his daughter Jamie Ashlee Barrett to Dustin William Benefield, son of Scott and Deneen Benefield of Flowery Branch. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Deborah Ann Barrett, granddaughter of Connie Barrett of Gainesville, and Robert and Dottie Geldean of Blairsville. She is a 2006 graduate of Flowery Branch High School in Flowery Branch.
