In the musical, Army veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act following World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander.
The score features well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and the perennial favorite, “White Christmas.”
The cast is led by Brandon Nonnemaker and Alex Davis. The lovely women Bob and Phil follow to Vermont are portrayed by Holly newcomer Morgan Copeland and a seasoned veteran Christian Mims.
The cast also features real-life veteran Hal Williams as Gen. Waverly and Carla Selden as Martha Waston, the concierge of the Columbia Inn.
Tickets are available on line at www.hollytheater.com or at the box office at 69 W. Main St. in Dahlonega.
