White Christmas echos in Dahlonega
Brandon Nonnemaker, Alex Davis, Morgan Copeland and Christian Mims portray the lead characted in the timeless classic “White Christmas.” Performance of the holiday musical will run from Dec. 5-21 at the Holly Theater in Dahlonega.

Performances will be 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays from Dec. 5-7, 12-14 and 19-21. Tickets are $18 for adults and $12 for students and children.

In the musical, Army veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act following World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander.

The score features well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and the perennial favorite, “White Christmas.”

The cast is led by Brandon Nonnemaker and Alex Davis. The lovely women Bob and Phil follow to Vermont are portrayed by Holly newcomer Morgan Copeland and a seasoned veteran Christian Mims.

The cast also features real-life veteran Hal Williams as Gen. Waverly and Carla Selden as Martha Waston, the concierge of the Columbia Inn.
