North Georgia residents and tourists can visit the circa 1800s Baber-Bridges Log House, warm up by a fire and taste food cooked in a dutch oven during an Open House: Log House program from 1–4 p.m. Saturday at Sandy Creek Nature Center.

Featured activities include music by the Athens Folk Society Old Time Band, storytelling and blacksmithing.

This fee is $3 for Athens-Clarke County residents; $5 for nonresidents; $7 for ACC families; and $10 for non-resident families. Preregistration is not required.
