Owners of cool-looking cars, trucks or motorcycles wanting to show off their style and raise money for a good cause will have their chance next Saturday.

The “Kars 4 Kares4Kids” car show will conduct a contest for the best-looking vehicles with two, three and four wheels as well as benefit the Kares4Kids organization.

Registration for the vehicles will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at 4878 Manhattan Drive in Buford. Registration fee is a minimum $25 donation. Awards will be handed out at 2 p.m.

During the registration and judging, adults may participate in the door prize drawings, silent auction and raffle.

Children may head to the kids corner and bounce around in a jumpy house or have their faces painted. Both young and old may satisfy any hunger cravings with the grilled food and baked goods on hand.

All proceeds will benefit the needy children in Hall and Gwinnett counties. The nonprofit helps children with various items including book bags filled with supplies, food, clothing, Kare Bears and Christmas for the young ones. Teenagers in need receive gift cards.
