A marathon hearing was underway Wednesday in the case of a retired St. Simons Island dentist accused of shooting and killing her boyfriend at their Lake Lanier home last year, with both the prosecution and defense presenting multiple motions to suppress various kinds of evidence ahead of next month’s trial.
