Gainesville man on trial for murder told investigators he acted in self-defense in stabbing of wheelchair-bound neighbor
A Gainesville man accused of killing his wheelchair-bound neighbor at a Hall County apartment complex admitted inflicting the man’s fatal injuries but claimed he acted in self-defense, as jurors this week heard testimony about the stabbing, blood evidence found in the building and efforts to destroy potential evidence afterward.
