The right-handed Julio Teheran (14-2) followed him with his regularly scheduled turn in the rotation, earning a win with five innings pitched, allowing two earned runs and striking out four batters.
Right fielder Stefan Gartrell and shortstop Brandon Hicks went 2 for 4 with an RBI.
The G-Braves remain in second place in the International League South, 5.5 games behind the Durham Bulls. Gwinnett is also second in the Wild Card race, trailing by 2.5 games.
