Atlanta Braves agree to $1.25 million, 1-year deal with former White Sox infielder Gordon Beckham

ATLANTA — Versatile infielder Gordon Beckham, an Atlanta native and former University of Georgia standout, has agreed to a $1.25 million, one-year contract with the Braves. Beckham announced the deal on his Twitter feed Wednesday: “Pretty amazing to grow up in Atlanta, go to UGA, and then put on the uniform of the @Braves. Trying to make sure I’m not dreaming..lets go!”
