KENNESAW — It was a day which was both exhilarating and frustrating for members of the Georgia IronDawgs powerlifting team, headquartered at the Iron Beast Gym in Gainesville. The ’Dawgs continued their record-breaking ways, smashing a number of national and world marks, but at the end of the day had no hardware to take home from the American Powerlifting Committee America’s Cup Meet at the Hilton Garden Inn. A computer glitch sent the IronDawgs and the rest of the competitors away late Saturday night with no medals or trophies to take with them as the system was overwhelmed by the number of entries and classes and nothing official could be calculated.
