Williams leads Gainesville golfers at Furman tournament

Gainesville High golfer Nathan Williams won the 14-15 age group and finished second overall to lead a number of Red Elephants at the Furman Junior Classic, a part of the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour, in Greenville, S.C. on Wednesday. Gainesville’s Meg Callahan finished fourth and Morgan Reece ninth in the 15-19 girls division. In addition to Williams, Spencer Ralston finished seventh in the 14-15 group.
