The Flowery Branch softball team picked up an 11-0 Region 8-AAAAA victory against Cedar Shoals on Monday.
Sophomore MacKenzie Harris pitched the complete-game shutout as the Lady Falcons improved to 3-3 in region play.
Flowery Branch plays at Heritage-Conyers in a region game today before facing Clarke Central on Thursday.

GAINESVILLE WINS TWICE: The Gainesville High volleyball team won matches against West Hall and Lakeview Academy on Monday at Lakeview.
The Lady Red Elephants defeated the Lady Spartans 25-20, 25-11 and the Lady Lions by a 25-21, 25-23 score.
Against West Hall, Sydney King (4 aces, 7 service points), Bethany Whitenton (4 kills), Savannah Roys (2 aces, 4 service points, 10 assists) and Abby Alexander (4 aces, 12 service points, 2 kills) led the way.
Against Lakeview, King (1 ace, 4 service points, 14 digs), Roys (4 aces, 4 service points, 9 assists), Sally Callahan (1 ace, 7 service points, 3 kills, 1 block) and Tanai Watson (3 service points, 2 kills) paced Gainesville.
The Red Elephants (16-10) travel to Winder-Barrow to play the host team and Cedar Shoals today.
LAKEVIEW SPLITS MATCHES: After beating West Hall 25-11, 25-15, Lakeview fell to Gainesville.
Katie White paced Lakeview with 14 kills and 17 digs in the two matches. Bailey Towles (20 assists, 5 aces), Peaches Shipley (10 kills, 1 block, 1 ace), Delaney Jarrett (8 assists, 7 aces), Maddison McElwee (3 kills, 2 aces, 1 block) and Schyler Miller (16 digs, ace) also excelled for the Lady Lions.
Lakeview plays at Hebron Christian Academy on Tuesday.
