Emily Holman singled home Erin Jackson and Jefferson defeated Union County 1-0 in the Region 8-AA Championship on Thursday in Blairsville. Morgan McKinney was the winning pitcher for the Lady Dragons and recorded 11 strikeouts. Jordan Phillips and Savannah Snapp each had singles for Jefferson.
