Gainesville lacrosse tops MLK Jr. in overtime

Bill Hood scored the winning goal in overtime as Gainesville’s boys lacrosse program topped Martin Luther King Jr. 5-4 on Tuesday at City Park Stadium. Sam Terray had 18 saves in the goal for the Red Elephants (2-6), which have now won back to back games. Gainesville’s leading scorer was John Wagner with three goals, and Triston Wimpye added another score.
