Gainesville High's Ryan Hogan claims win at Rudolph Junior Golf Classic

Gainesville High junior Ryan Hogan fired a second-round 1-under par 71 to make up four strokes to win the Rudolph Junior Classic by a shot Tuesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Club. First-round leader Matthew Cleary shot back-to-back 75 for a two-day total of 150.

Wesley Heston finished third with a 153.

In the 14-15 year-old division, Jack Vajda, from Canton, shot 74 (151) to win by two shots over Andrew Hughes 72 (152) and first-round leader Brandon Cho 76 (152).

Gainesville’s Sam Patterson fired a second-round 78 (153) to win by seven shots over David Hughes (160) in the boys’ 10-13 age division. Josh Ledford was third with a 166.

Alison Crenshaw fired a second-round 74 (155) to win the girls’ 12-18 division by a 32-stroke margin over Karson Kimsey (187).

Zoey Cho won the girls’ 11-and-under division with a two-day total of 177.
