Flowery Branch's Austin Eckenroth claimed the Class AAAA state pole vault title on Thursday at the Georgia Olympics in Jefferson.

Eckenroth, a junior, cleared 15 feet, 1 inch, setting a new personal best.

In Class A, Riverside Military's Tarvin Dukes took second in the discus with a throw of 150 feet, 2 inches.
