DOGFIGHT: Phil Rothermel, Tommy Calhoun, Larry Miller and Karl Steigele combined to card a score of 17-under-par as the Wednesday Dogfight played a three, best-ball, net-score match at Chicopee Woods Golf Course.

The team of Walter Hope, Joe Roberts, Jerry Horton and Don Schrum came in at 15-under-par for second place.

Yoshi's 67 won the individual competition, while Tommy Calhoun (68) was second and Greg Lee (69) third.

Rothermel, Roberts and Schrum each fired a 70 to tie for fourth.

LUNA: The team of Juan Luna, Don Rogers, Bud Chandler and Tommy Lowery took first place as the Luna's Tuesday Golf Group played at Royal Lakes this week.

Larry Cleek, Richard Strickland, Chad Pierce and Cleve Brown tied Doug McMahan, Royce Deaton, Don Smallwood and Same McGee for second.

Closest to the pin winners were Cleek on No. 4, McMahan on No. 8, Stan Davidson Jr. on No. 14 and Gene Weschler on No. 16.

DPG: Dwight Miller (+7) took first place Monday as the DPG played at Chicopee Woods Golf Course. Denis Jordan and Norm Phillips tied for second at +4. Wednesday's match was won by Bob Kidd (+5), with Jerry Shell and Steve Knowles tieing for second at +1.

Jordan (+5) won Friday's match, with Dave Jetter (+1) in second and Dennis Jones (E) in third.
